PSSA IQ test. This document can be used as either a pre-assessment or post-assessment tool to gather information about your participants' background knowledge or familiarity with the PSSA test.
Admit Slip.This handout can be used as a bellringer that will allow participants to list strategies that have implemented in the past with their students.
Bright Ideas.-This organizer allows participants to jot down any ideas they have read or heard during the facilitation of the workshop.
safe harbor.- This exercise allow participants to calculate safe harbor for a subgroup of students for a fictious high school.
PSSA Prep Partners. - This is a variation of both flexible grouping and think-pair-share. This graphic includes "sign-up slots" which allow participants to select up to three people they like to work with during the workshop. Prior to the start of the workshop, have participants move around the room and sign up participants at the designated sign-up slots as indicated on the handout. At each sign-up slot, two participants record each other's name. To facilitate PSSA Partners, announce a pair-share time and partnership. Allow time for participants to meet and discuss the given task as defined by the facilitator/trainer.
